Dana received her little diva, Snacks, as a birthday present from her boyfriend, Tim, in January of 2010. As her supposed “mini” pig grew, and grew, she realized that raising her first potbelly pig was proving to be a little more challenging then expected. Luckily Dana had a friend who volunteered at Ross Mill Farm. Her friend put her in touch with Susan Magidson and PPN to help answer all her piggy parenting questions. Since then, Dana has become involved with online fundraising activities for PPN, including RMF’s Amazon Wish List, RMF’s annual calendar, and RMF’s Facebook auctions. Dana was elected to the board of PPN in early 2014.
Professionally, Dana is an occupational therapist and the Director of Rehabilitation at a skilled nursing facility. She also spends time volunteering at a non-kill kennel for dogs pulled from high kill shelters.
