The Rutherford Rescue Pigs were rescued from a hoarding situation in North Carolina. Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary reached out to many pig organizations for help with the overwhelming number of pigs in need of rescue. PPN's foster facility at Ross Mill Farm took in 12 pigs on 9/5/20, all of them young, many of them piglets. These piggies are currently quarantined and the four baby boys are separated from the girls, but still near each other. They are curious and sweet, despite what they have been through so far in life. Some even were rolling over for belly rubs shortly after arriving! Many of them are underweight, and all need vet care and love.
