These piglets were rescued from a neglectful home that was breeding them as "feeder pigs" to be fed to large snakes. They have come so far in the short time they've been at Ross Mill Farm and are very social! They have finished their quarantine period, have all been altered, and are ready for new homes! They were born around the end of March. While quite shy and skittish when they first arrived to Ross Mill Farm in early June, they have become wonderfully sweet, social, and curious piglets who will make wonderful additions to some very lucky families!
They have been socialized at RMF and due to their young age should be adopted as inside pigs who receive outside time in a secure pen. They can be adopted in pairs (or trios!) or to homes with a pig already that is in need of a pig friend.
8/15/23: Three piglets have been adopted, seven remain! 8/29/23 Another piglet was adopted, six remain!
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs. There will be an adoption fee for these piglets.
