These two wonderful girls are still living in the Old Barn at Ross Mill Farm. It would be wonderful if they could be placed with a family that can give them individual love and attention and a pasture to enjoy their senior years.
Betty and her best friend Wilma are the only two pure Yucatan pigs here on the farm and were born approximately in 2005. They are extremely intelligent and high energy girls. However they are very lovable. Betty is the calm one and needs her partner in crime Wilma. She is such a sweet girl. They both have very little hair.
Some history of these girls they were used in a research facility but no harm was done to them. The facility closed and decided to adopt them out. Betty's next home needs plenty of romping room and pasture for her to be able to graze. They are very active and closer to their farm pig counter parts than the pot bellies in personality. They are both large pigs.
Although both girls are believed to be the same age, Betty is more active than Wilma. She grazes each morning outside, while Wilma eats her breakfast undistrubed. It would be reccommended to continue separating them for feeding.
