Ozzy in Ironton, OH
Ozzy

Ozzy was rescued from a family member who didn't know how to care for a pig, but the family is not able to keep him long term and need to find him a forever home. He was taken to early from his mother so he has rooting issues, but the husband can pet him and he will just fall over to be petted. Ozzy is fine with kids and has been around the 3 y/o granddaughter and not bothered her. He also runs around the yard with the cats and he doesn't bother them.

Transportation is available within 150 miles to the new home.

Ozzy is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
