Meet Phoebe! She's a lovely house pig who is housebroken (going outside) & harness trained. For the past few years when it gets colder, she has a ton of accidents in the house. The family has tried to make some changes, but it happens even when they're only gone 2 hours even if they let her out before leaving. A different environment is needed.
Phoebe can be easily startled and tends to snap if someone quickly approaches her. That said, she has been around a lot of kids in her lifetime and done well with them. Calm kids who know how to gently approach animals should be fine. Phoebe has been around dogs her entire life and they definitely snap at each other sometimes, but most often coexist fine. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) She really hates the cold and enjoys being outside in the summer. She is very food motivated, but is pretty mellow otherwise & mostly lays around all day.
Transportation is available to the new home. She has done well in cars in the past.
