Pia is an in/out piggy - she stays outside (as weather permits) during the day. She cannot not be inside unattended except to sleep, as she gets into things like the trash. Piggy proofing and limiting access can help. There are no children in the home, but she has been fine with the few interactions with kids she's had. Pia is good with cats, but is having trouble with dogs. A dog-free home would be ideal, but her family recommended she meet any dogs first before adoption if they would share any space. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Pia is crate trained, housebroken, and willing to use a litterbox, although she prefers to go potty outside. She also travels well in cars. She loves to lie in the sun and dig little holes in the dirt. Pia also enjoys warm baths and loves a good belly rub. With strangers, she does not love being touched around her jaw/neck area. She likes to follow you around. She's very responsive to being called.
Transportation is available (within NM) to the new home.
