Pig/Piggy/Piggerton in Hummelstown, PA
Pig/Piggy/Piggerton

3/31/26 Still available! Pig, aka Piggy, aka Piggerton, is a lovely and super friendly spayed girl in need of a new home. She's great with kids and a Newfoundland dog named Lacie is her best friend. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) She's also good with the 4 cats in the home. She likes to follow them around and sniff them. The first year of Piggy's life, she lived indoors and only went out to go to the bathroom. In October, the family built an enclosure for her outside in the backyard and she is an outdoor pig now. She sleeps in an enclosed garage with outdoor access to her pen. Piggerton is housebroken, harness trained, and crate trained. She can sit on command and also gives kisses when you put your face next to hers and say kiss kiss. She also knows the words potty, outside, bedtime, and lay down.

Her person said: This pig is probably one of my favorite animals I have had in my lifetime. She truly is the sweetest pig and is so good with everyone she meets. She knows tricks and is potty trained (need to make sure to take her out every couple of hours to avoid accidents). She loves to cuddle on the couch by squeezing herself behind someone and falling asleep. Every time we take her outside she is on a harness. She does very well on the harness and cooperates when leading her. She likes to talk and has many different oinks depending on her moods or wants/needs. She always loves a treat at bed time! When she was born she was a piglet showed at community events. Children and elderly would hold and handle her. We got her at about 2 months old, and she moved into our home strictly indoors with children and pets. I have four children ages 12, 9, 5, and 2. She is probably one of the friendliest pigs you will ever meet. Never bit or showed any signs of aggression. The kids would sleep next to her, cuddle her, and feed her. She LOVES to cuddle and sleep on the couch.

Transportation is available (within reason) to the new home.
