Pumba is an adult pig in need of an experienced rescue or sanctuary placement that can provide species-appropriate care, structure, and patient handling. He is currently seeking a setting better suited to his needs and comfort level.

Behaviorally, Pumba appears to have selective comfort with people. He has reportedly been more comfortable with women, though this is inconsistent. He has shown intolerance toward at least one female handler as well, suggesting his responses may be situational rather than strictly gender-based.
