Rice is one of 5 pigs in need of a home that can get him neutered and provide proper care. As he's gotten older, he's become aggressive. His family is scared to have him around the kids and they worry about his quality of life without much human contact. The family said: He used to be the sweetest thing! He loved belly scrates and my daughters. Once he became sexually active, his behavior became aggressive. We have 4 other boys who are much sweeter who also need to be rehomed.

Transportation is available within 30 miles to the new home.
Rice is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
