Sue in Taylorsville, NC
Sue

Sue showed up a few months ago & just hangs around. No owner has come forward, and she seems lonely. The family caring for her would like to find her a home where she gets more attention and has a buddy to hang out with. She likes to be pet around her ears and chin. She is friendly as long as she feels safe. Sue has done well with older kids & teens, and she loves cats.

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.

Sue is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors. She will have to lose weight before this can occur.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
