Theo is a neutered indoor house-pig. His mom just passed last week and he's taking it really hard. The family is unable to keep him, so he's looking for a new home. In the past, he tolerated other people, but he was very bonded to his mom and that was his chosen human. Since her passing, he's been having difficulty and has nipped at the family a few times when they try to pet him. They've been trying to give him space and not push him. He has been allowing them to feed him, but he doesn't want anyone to pet him yet. He and the other pig in the home, Madeline, never got along as Theo was very territorial over his mom. (Madeline already has a home pending.)
Theo has done fine with other animals like cats & dogs, but would do best as the only pig. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He'd do best in a home without kids. He is crate trained, housebroken with a litterbox, and rides well in cars. He does not get outside/yard time in the current home.
Transportation is available to the new home.
