Wilberg in Springville, AL
Wilberg

Wilberg is a handsome outside piggy in need of a home. He is very good with children and enjoys belly rubs from everyone. He is also very good with other animals and when he is not rooting, he likes to play. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He's a smart boy who can open almost any latch door and he'll need a secure fence/pen.

His dad said: He likes being fed and pet. Sometimes he tries to spar but I just spar back and he stops. He is calm but if he wants to be out with you he tries to break out to meet you for rubs or food.

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.

Wilberg is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency. His dad can help cover the cost of Wilberg's neuter.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
