Wilbur is a sweet boy looking for a forever home! He's currently in a foster home because his original home desperately needed a safe place for her piglet after her dogs were going after him & trying to kill him. He's safe at the foster home, but they do not have a good set up for a pig and cannot keep him long term. Wilbur has met an 11 year old in the home; while he wasn't mean, he was a little nervous around her. Slow introductions to kids would be ideal for this shy boy. He's never met any cats in the foster home, but he does not seem like a fan of dogs which is not surprising considering his past history of being mistreated by them. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Wilbur is neutered, current on routine vet care, and up to date on shots. He's harness trained, too!
His foster said: He's a very food driven boy who loves belly scratches and rolling his ball around his pen. He's timid around new people and can take a little while to warm up to you but once he does he's a sweet boy. Although things have gotten better with time, he will need someone to continue teaching him manners... sometimes he forgets them and will jump up onto your legs especially if he thinks you have treats.
Transportation is available within 150 miles to the new home.
